TC 9 services:

- develops, examines, co-ordinates and prepares to assertion the projects of national (DSTU) and intergovernmental (GOST) standards on FERROUS AND MANGANESES products;

- verification of standards, prepares changes to them and suggestions in relation to abolition of DSTU and GOST, and also, by commission Derzhspozhivstandartu of Ukraine, prepares suggestions for voting in relation to the projects of international and regional standards;

- instrumental in application of national standards of other countries as national standards of Ukraine;

- develops national and intergovernmental standards;

- determines priority of direct introduction in Ukraine of international and regional standards; - co-operates with technical committees in
the contiguous spheres of activity;

- co-operates with enterprises (organizations) - users of standards;

- by the centers (laboratories) of testers and organs from a certification, by other interested parties;

- develops part of the program of works from standardization after the fastened objects of standardization or by the spheres of activity;

- examines suggestions in relation to bringing of changes in operating ND or their revision or abolition.
