For providing of control of products on maintenance of GMO  on the base of the State enterprise of “Krivbasstandartmetrologiya” a laboratory is created and works on control of GMO.
 A laboratory answers requirements which are produced  to the laboratory of molecular genetic type, equipped the modern analytical equipment of the known world producers of such as: "DNK is Technology" (Russia); "EPPENDORF" (Nimetchina); "BioSan" (Latvia); "Sa-mi" (Italy).

Food products and food raw material on maintenance of GMO tested in obedience to international standards, during testing with the purpose of control of quality of results a laboratory utillizes the certificated standard standards.  Specialists which have knowledge of work from testing the method of PLR in the real time work in a laboratory.

        A laboratory conducts the followings types of tests of food products, and food raw material:

High-quality determination of maintenance of the genetically modified organisms

Verification of food and food raw material stuffs in the presence of GMO is an exposure of regulator sequences of promotor (35S) and terminator (NOS);

Quantitative determination of maintenance of the genetically modified organisms

Authentication and quantitative determination of maintenance of GMO in food stuffs and food raw material .
Term of implementation of works from determination of quality and amount of GMO, makes three days from the moment of receipt of standards to the laboratory.

A tester laboratory is accredited on accordance of DSTU/IEC 17025:2006 (ISO/IEC 17025:2005), on independence and technical competence in National Agency from Accreditation of Ukraine (certificate of accreditation №2Н969 from November, 08 in 2009) A guarantee testifies quality of works of, which is arrived at functioning of the system of quality which provides for:

-    authenticity of results of tests and measuring (provided administrative and financial independence from the producers (suppliers) of products);

-   application of the standardized methods of tests.
